GAME :ONE MIND WITH KIM HYUN JOONG

From the start his schedule was released and Singapore will be the first destination, I was very excited to know when will be the actual date.

As in month of May 2012, I have personal function scheduled in line....praying that it won’t fall on the 12 May 2012 (it was my nephew’s Big Wedding Day).

The actual date was released and I am glad and thank GOD, Kim Hyun Joong  (KHJ) will come to Singapore on 4 May 2012.  Keep on my toe with friend who excited about the tickets.  Tickets collected and distributed to friend.

Just to make things easier for everyone, I took the first two tickets in-line.   I must say that I really really wish that I will be the lucky Fans for that day for whatever games.

Information about KHJ's arrival will be on 2 May 2012, was a bad news for me as his arrival time falls on my working day.  The time of arrival was schedule to be 1.30pm.  On 2 May 2012, I left only with 2 staff at work.  Since morning, I was contemplating to go to airport or not.  Since my friend has been encouraging me to go and it was during my lunch time.....I ran off at 1pm in a cab and zoom to T2.  Can’t believe it, KHJ’s power of coming to Singapore has dragged all Fans in Singapore down to T2 Singapore Airport.

As I am a shy person, I was looking for my friend but at the end I decided to just stand outside the glass door near where KHJ’s car was parked.   Lucky me, only girl standing there and never waited too long just stand like a statue.  Not too long, I heard screaming for KHJ name and my heart popping like the stereo.  Ahhh....should I be ready to take video or should I just prepare to pass him my giant card.   It was KHJ’s birthday card which I have prepared last night.  I choose a BIG card because I always miss to give him a small card.  This time I really learned my lesson....buy a GIANT card no matter what is the cost...anyway for my ONLY IDOL KHJ.   A little bit of what I have wrote inside the card, this time I wrote in Hanguk which I translated it from my iphone dictionary.   It works very well.  I wrote alot about 20 lines (Hanguk and English).  Who knows Kim Hyun Joong really understand English only that he do not want to show off. ( Ahh that’s why I’m the winner in the game ONE MIND with KHJ).  The glass door was opened and there I saw Mr Jeong,  KHJ’s  handsome bodyguard. ( Like boss like bodyguard).   His eyes was directed to meeee and he saw me holding the giant card.  He came across and grabbed it.  I was very very relieved and saw KHJ already entered the car.   I rushed to catch a cab as its near to 2pm to return to office.  I shared with my friends that my card was taken away by Mr Jeong....we so happy about it.

Well, the big day had arrived.  I took afternoon off from work.  I went to buy New Zealand ice-cream special for KHJ.   The salesgirl was very kind to wrap it doubled as I told her that I could only give this ice-cream to the person at 11pm.  She told me that it would not last that long....but I am abit stubborn person.   At home, I placed it in the freezer for about 3 hours before I took it out to go to Singapore Indoor Stadium (SIS).

Arriving at the SIS, I have collected the T-Shirt and the brooch.  It was a very thoughtful of KHJ to think, to prepare, to give FANs  such a nice gift.  KHJ always never only want to accept from FANs (whatever gifts from fans to him, he will bring back to Korea) , but he too never forget to give away to fans.

Time shows 7.15pm, my sister and I decided to check-in.   The security guard warned no photo-taking was allowed.  I obeyed them as an innocent person.   Taking my seat and just waited for other friend to come in.  Later, 2 girls came and asked me for the ticket seat number because myself and my sister seated at the wrong seat.  I moved to my seat according to the ticket number and waited.  There was this security officer who was watching our seating area.  He was saying that one of the lucky fans will be from our area. The moment has arrived, KHJ starts with the first song, Let Me Go and followed by other songs.  He was charming as ever..  beautiful ...energetic....hot.....what more can I say....I just couldn’t remain quiet as I have promised my friends that I will scream for KHJ.  Earlier, I have told my friends that if KHJ sing “I’m your man” .....I want to scream “Na neun nae yo ja ya” but that moment the audiences was louder than me so even if I were to scream KHJ can never hear me.

Well, when KHJ went in..the MC came out and asking  fans to do a shout to KHJ to ask him to come out  “Oppa Kim Hyun Joong-ah” .  KHJ came out with a fresh looks dressing in white T-shirt with a nice design (understand that the heat in Singapore ...T-shirt is the best and KHJ always decent in his dressing eventhough he wear just plain T-shit).

MC informed that in the afternoon KHJ came to stick a yellow paper  written “CONGRATULATIONS” under the seats.  I am so excited and could not believe it that I have the paper under my seat.   Walking up to the stage, ushered by the security officer I can feel  my both legs trembling and my body feeling cold.  Up on stage because I am nervous I did not greet KHJ nor shake hands with him.  Until the last fans came up and straightaway she shake hand with KHJ.  KHJ did the same to all other 5 fans.  I can feel his hand strong and soft.  Now I know what is it like standing beside KHJ.  He was taller than me and his complexion sparkling along with the necklace he’s wearing....prince charming.  Phew..my brain empty and never have any idea what should  I do to this KHJ.

The game started...I am nervous and I want to WIN.  KHJ so cute when he pronounced ‘stone’ during Scissor, Paper and Stone game...one of the fans was eliminated.  Ohhh...i knew it she will be the lucky girl that KHJ will give a special treat.   But I want to WIN and I focus on what the MC ‘s instruction.   I was very surprise that I did the same as KHJ...and after the other 2 was eliminated, now left with me and the other fans.   This time....the pose was quite like manly ‘base-ball’ pose.  KHJ demo the 3 poses and when MC make me and the girl to try out....i felt very funny to do it.  But KHJ was very considerate.  When I did the first pose, I was out-of –balance and he show a sign to me to stop and we continue with the 2nd and 3rd poses.  MC said very nice and KHJ also said ‘nice’..so cute.

Now, the more I want to WIN....surprised!!  both did well until MC decided for us to close our eyes.  At that moment, I do not know what kind of reactions that come from KHJ after none of us got eliminated.  He did said “wondering if both of us has eyes behind our back”....kekeke.  Yeah! KHJ  isn’t this your game showing that your fans are having same Mind as you....

The moment I closed my eyes, I told myself that I will leave to GOD to decide so as not to make KHJ waited as time is running out.  I heard KHJ said 3-2-1  and goooooo .....I DID IT!!!

When I opened my eye, I realised I am the winner.  KHJ gave present to the other fans.   I still remember that I was happy and I smile from ear-to-ear.....and I could not believe it that I cannot jump up and down and I didn’t cry....... (in real life I am not like that ....if I won something I will jump and showing my excitement with people around me).  But thank GOD....I was cool kekeke.   MC called me “mak cik” that mean aunty or ahjumma.  Hah! its ok  its ok..thanks for the respect.

MC was very excited too he said I could do any pose I want with KHJ....but before I could think of any...KHJ already placed his arm (I can feel its heavy)  and that’s it  I just have to follow KHJ  do ‘peace’ and with a SMILE.   The Polaroid photo doesn’t come out too good, not sharp and it’s so tiny.  However, it was a small thing that money cannot buy from me.   I WILL TREASURE IT FOREVER AS IT WAS AN EVIDENCE THAT SHOW I AM ONE OF THE FANS WITH HAVING ONE MIND WITH KIM HYUN JOONG.   I am truly, sincerely happy for the interaction that KHJ has planned for the night.   I know all this came from him .....so I really proud to be the lucky fans that night.   If I can say this to Kim Hyun Joong in person........I really want him to know that my thanks to him for placing the yellow paper under my Seat Number 9 ROW 7.  I treat this as my 11 May birthday present.  During the hi-5....I can see KHJ smiling and he still looked refreshing like nothing happen...like he never do anything.   He’s wonderful, he’s a great performer, he’s fans service was fantastic and he’s LOVE toward FANs are POWER.  GHAMSAHABNIDA ......Kim Hyun Joong .    Saranghaeyo  from alphabeta, Singapore.  Check-out.

P/S ... to my friends Lina and gang, my sister, my LKHJ starlings ....thank you for coming to share the joy with me after the hi-5 that night.  Yessss  I could not sleep well....thanks to Kim Hyun Joong.  And the second thing I could not forget was “Will my Ice-cream reach to Kim Hyun Joong safely”?.   Since, I was not allowed to pass to him personally I left it with the security officer.  However, I knew that KHJ has received it and ate it.

He just reached Shanghai a few hours ago to perform at tonight’s fashion show. The great thing is, the turnout at the airport to receive him was amazing, but the crowd crush when he appeared was crazy -apparently the huge crowd surged forward and it was pretty chaotic, he was pushed and jostled and groped and people were stepped on etc, someone on Baidu also said that they even heard a korean lady on his team swear because of the chaos… I do hope everyone didn’t get any scratches or wounds…..

Today is the day, I get to watch TWO Hyun Joong concerts, very excited waking up. It rained yesterday and proved Hyun Joong/SS501 are truly rain god. But today the sun is out and the weather is very good, makes me more cheerful.

It doesn’t long for me to get to the International Forum, I get there a little after 10. The first concert starts at 1:30pm so I thought I would be early, oh, boy, am I wrong. When I exit the subway station, a couple hundred Japanese fans have already lined up the sidewalks in an orderly manner across the street. I decide to stay on this side of the street and get myself a prime spot. We wait patiently, more and more fans come out of the subways station with each train arrival.

At 1100ish, men in black make their presence and start to rope off the sidewalks, that means wuri star is coming. Soon, big vans with tinted windows start to arrive, they make a left turn in front of me and enter the forum parking lot. They all have tinted windows, so it’s impossible to see inside. One van came with a cameraman standing through the sunroof filming the fans, we all cheer and wave happily. I am sure they will use some footage for 1st Tour DVD, so I may have a slim chance to see myself for 1/10th second, wishful thinking. The last two vans are gray, the kind Hyun Joong rides in Japan, so it seems everyone knows even though the windows are not rolled down. Fans call out his name and wave madly, I am sure he can see us and feel our love.

As soon as these two gray vans enter the underground, the guards take off the ropes and the crowd starts to move to the Forum Hall A where the concert is held. It’s a very nice venue and is the largest among his tour locations, it has two floors and holds 5000 seats. All tickets for the three additional Tokyo concerts were sold out and it’s quite an achievement. Some tickets with good seats were auctioned for over 50,000 yen. The tickets are not cheap by any means but still hard to get. Fortunately I have a wonderful cousin in Japan and she was able to get some tickets for me after several attempts. One time online ticket sale started at 10am, she and her husband started to dial the numbers using 4 different phones at 09:57, but they couldn’t get connected for 10 minutes, and all the tickets were gone by the time they were able to get connected. For the additional Tokyo concerts, Henecia membership (additional fee) was required to apply for tickets, so my each ticket costs 50%. The tickets are quite expensive even by Japan standards. My cousin mentioned even many famous Japanese singers charge no more than 7000 yen per concert. When I was in Hiroshima I saw a concert schedule and fee posted in the venue where Hyun Joong’s concert was held, Japanese singer concert tickets 5,000-6,000yen, DBSK 8,500 yen (the highest and the only one sold out). So in a way, wuri star has made it selling out all his concerts.

Sorry about the sidetrack, back to the concert venue. I follow the crowd towards the venue and I want to get a lightstick since the one I bought in Seoul was broken. I get in the hall and see a long line is already formed, it must be the line to buy souvenirs, so I stand at the end of the line like an orderly Japanese fan. But the line doesn’t move at all for 20 minutes, I finally realize this is actually the line for entrance for the concert. Why do they even line up even everyone has a ticket with a seat number? The concert starts at 1:30pm and they will let us in at 12:30, and right now it’s only past 11. I don’t understand at all but I am not willing to give up my spot, so I wait patiently in line for a seat will be mine regardless when I get in. There are notes for fans to write question for Hyun Joong and he will also pick some lucky fans to go on stage. I write down my question and seat number and drop the note in the box.

At 12:30 sharp, the staff let us in, each fan is handed a plastic bags with DATV flyers. They also put up signs no photo no video, each bag is inspected. Again, I don’t understand why they always sell limited amount of stuff like this, they could’ve made much more money and more fans happy. I can only sigh, I will have nothing to wave.

Anyway, I go into the hall, it’s very large inside, each seat is spacious and comfortable. I am so lucky my seat is at the 5th row, to the right side. It’s only 9 steps to the stage (I measured it, ^.^) I have a very good view of the stage, I don’t dare to take out my camera, so I use my iphone to take pictures of the stage and my seat, but one security guard stops me right away. Aigoo, it doesn’t look like I will be able to take any pictures, I hope MurderQ or Ahila will be in attendance because they always take wonderful pictures regardless where.

I notice the crowd is younger than the one I attended last year for 1st Love Story fan meeting. Everyone seems very happy and whole hall is filled with excitement. The seats start to fill up quickly. There’s a big screen on stage and 2 smaller ones on each side. Hyun Joong’s songs are playing and his CFs for Seoul ambassador and Japan Thermwear are showed too. Time passes quickly, 1:30 came and went, no signs of Hyun Joong. The crowd starts to get restless and starts chanting “Kim Hyun Joong, Kim Hyun Joong”. Finally at 1:40pm, the music for “Let it go” starts, everyone is on her feet screaming and waving. My seat is quite close to the speakers and the sound is quite loud. Finally, a figure emerged, wuri star stands on the raised platform, dressed in a black military suit. He walked down the stairs to the main stage while singing, this is the first time I watch him performing this song, even though I have watched the videos many times. To watch him performing live is always so much better, he is a very good dancer. His hair yellow and curly, kind of long too. He dances with full energy and sings most of the lyrics live. This is a short song though.

Next is “Breakdown”. I have watched it live several times in Seoul and enjoyed it tremendously. His moves are precise and smooth, but somehow I am used to the costume and hairstyle back then, so it is a little strange to see him dance with yellow hair and that costume. I have to say I like the image in June better. He has lost some weight, his face is smaller and his legs are getting skinnier, his black pant look quite loose on him especially the thigh part. Oh, how I wish to watch the 20’s choice performance, those arms, abs, legs, drool. Having to perform so many concerts in such a short time has taken a toll on his body I think. Anyway, his performance is still excellent, the whole concert hall is on fire, fans sing along and chant “break down break down”. This one always gets my heart pumping faster.

After Breakdown, Hyun Joong gets off the stage to change, “Please” MV behind the scene is showing on the screen. This is the first time I see the part where they shoot on the rooftop at night, he was so focused during the shoot. When the MV finishes, Hyun Joong is on stage again, he is in a different outfit, white shirt, black jacket and black sparkling pants. As usual, the dance is good, to watch him perform is truly enjoyment to the eyes. I glue my eyes to him and don’t even think about taking any pictures. The fans remain standing and wave lightsticks. I look around, half of the lightsticks are the green U:zoosin with the alien, and half are the multi-color one for the tour, it’s quite a scene to see thousands of green and white lightsticks waving at unison.

Next song is Thank You. He has sang this song many times over the years, and his singing has improved loads. After several dance songs, he is sweating profusely, I can actually see sweats dripping from his face. He signs with his whole body and you can feel his passion. Again, the fans sing along as well.

It’s talk time after Thank You. The MC and translator (2 ladies) come on stage, it’s about 1:55pm. They bring 3 white triangle stools for them to sit. Hyun Joong uses an orange towel to wipe his face. I notice his handsome bodyguard standing on the side of the stage the whole time, is he still scanning the crowd and looking for any signs of troubles? No rest for him either, he is indeed a good bodyguard.

First part of the talk is questions about Tokyo (questions are slightly different between afternoon and evening sessions). There are translations about the talk and I won’t repeat here. I am glad I could understand a little more what he was saying thanks to all the Korean news and Korean dramas I have been watching. There are several funny parts:
- He was asked about dog, he imitated different dog barking sound (US, Japan and Korea), cutest to the max
- He asked about how cat meow in Japan, also imitated cow, sheep
- One question, he had to think and count with his fingers for a while, but ended up holding only 2 fingers.
- He is coming to play a soccer game in Japan next year.
His answers seem witty and funny, draw many laughter from fans, he knows how to please the crowd. He is definitely more confident and more matured than last year’s fan meeting. While he is listening, he constantly scans the audience and you can see how happy he is that every seat is filled and all the fans are cheering for him.

At 2:25pm, he picks 3 names from the drawing box, he is very playful and teases us before he reads out the seat number in Japanese, fans are like “Ahhh, Ohhh”. The lucky 3 are 2 women and one little girl. His face lights up when he sees the little girl, saying “Ibuda” (pretty in Korean), he also lifts up the little girl and carries her at fans’ request, so cute. The lucky 3 receive a gift from him, he shakes their hands and gives them a hug (which draw some protests from the audience).

At 2:43pm, the talking part is finished. He leaves the stage to change. His Japanese song “Smile” is playing and the screen is showing behind the scene for his 2012 calendar shooting. They show his many smiles, his smile is so beautiful and bright, lights up the whole city and makes you smile in your heart too. I love the part he patting the little cat, I just imagine him patting my cat, that would be a nice picture, ^.^

He comes out to sing a ballad song, I am embarrassed to say I don’t know the name of the song, but it is a beautiful love song, his voice is getting better and better. Someone help me, is it from the new Lucky Album? Again, I was so busy working watering my money tree before the trip I haven’t even listened to the whole album yet.

He did Kiss Kiss next, this is a light hearted one, kind of cute. But I prefer the breakdown, manly type more. He changed costume again for “Do you like it” and “Lucky”. He is very lively, has some fancy footstep and leg shakes. The whole place is on fire, everyone is on her feet (or his, I saw a couple guys). At one point, he bumped into a female dancer and almost tripped. It will not be good if falls on stage.

He talks briefly after “Lucky” and says he would sing “One more Time” from Playful kiss OST. He walks up to the raised platform while singing and goes under when the song is finished.

Fans start to chant his name loudly for encore, 2 minutes later, he and all the dancers come out on stage, they dance Kiss Kiss and Lucky, he runs around like a little kid, he asks fans to jump, OMG, I can feel the ground shaking. So many otherwise properly behaved jumping singing, the power of our star. At one point, Hyun Joong picks up a towel and Ms. Now slimed down Thunderous Thigh wipes his face using the towel, it’s sort of motherly or sisterly action, but draw daggers from my eyes (I am sure many other pairs). Hyun Joong has a goofy colorful hat (you can see in the last picture from MurderQ posted by Nanet), and he tosses it to the audience, 3 ladies are on the floor fighting for it. (PS: Nanet, even though I want it very much, but I don’t think I am brave enough to join the fight, plus, it is in public, and most important thing, it’s right under Hyun Joong’s eyes, I want to keep my “good” “proper” image)

The concert ends at 3:18pm.

I am so happy, it’s good to see him performing on stage again and also get the sense that he has made it to be a successful solo singer. I am sure the load he carries on his shoulders was heavy, but at least some can be lifted now.

I look around, everyone is smiling, and I am too.

Shouted to him: Kim HyunJoong! Fighting! (In mandarin). He can't understand mandarin, but would smile, nod and said thank you. Last time when he didn't get No.1, korean fan told him: Sorry oppa, didn't let you get No.1. HyunJoong answered calmly: It is alright.

During one fan sign event, mama fan asked to sign for her daughter's name, telling HyunJoong it was a chinese name, sign slowly, it is alright. HyunJoong didn't care much and signed extremely fast! When HyunJoong heard of the word daughter, he eyes suddenly stared widely and gave a shocking expression, making mama fan herself speechless! Guessed he can't imagine that she already had a daughter.

He told fans at the venue, as long as holding on Henecia card, can go to his Fried Chicken shop to order 2 sets and above of fried chicken and it is free! At that time, fans around were so touched.

Just like her son, this is the model of 'like mother like son'.

My Kim Hyun Joong Dream…Came True (Day 2)

Second Date With Kim Hyun Joong 

August 26,2011


This day was surely the busiest day for me ever on Hyun Joong’s visit as we were tapped by The Face Shop to help them act as marshalls for their event, the whole day. Though I was more laid back today, I still can’t help but still feel nervous as I will see him again, probably more chances that I can ever have. 
As we were lining up and preparing ourselves outside THE FACE SHOP Mall of Asia, I was very nervous. I can’t help but think what he will wear again, what kind of smile he will have. Many thoughts are coming up in my mind. I don’t care if he ever recognizes me or not, but whatever happens, this is Henecia Philippines moment, as Ms D was given the opportunity to give our gifts for him and for everyone. 


Finally, after an hour of waiting, he arrived! Imagine how I screamed in delight seeing him wear that sexy top of his, I can barely see what’s inside that chest. My gosh, I told myself. How can a man be so sexy and still wear something?! Only he can pull it off! 


I was quite small so I can’t see what’s happening inside the store, but I was very thrilled seeing him having his gorgeous smile! Oh my I told myself. I am so blessed, just by this mere experience; I am already blessed so much. 


Afternoon came, and the busiest I have been the whole day. We were all busy preparing the activity center for his fan sign, ushering people who had the chance to enter the hall for those who purchased their sure seats. Suddenly, I felt like there was no hope getting close to him again whatsoever, since we were all busy, I finally gave up the thought.


But, I really don’t know what got into me, but I just went in front, and asked what I can do to help the people with backstage pass, that is Unnie Grace and Unnie Lyn of course. They asked us to make the numbers that will be drawn for the games. Of course, we made it fast and I brought it back to Unnie Lyn. I was shocked when she told me to backstage! Imagine my happiness??? OMG, I told myself. HE will go here. He will go here. He will go here. HE WILL GO HERE! 
I savored the moment and asked where will he sit and such, and to my happiness, I did sit on where he was supposed to sit at once. (LOL) I was soooooo nervous, thinking the closeness I can be being here backstage, and having a full access going UP that stage with him, I cant even say what. 


       Then, as time ticks, the people on the ATTENDING area started bursting their balloons to know if they are one of the 5 lucky fans who will have a photo op with Kim Hyun Joong. (The drill of the game is that, 5 balloons have the name KIM HYUN JOONG on it. Once you saw Kim Hyun Joong’s name, you will have a photo op with him, on stage!)  


As the fans do their BALLOON thingy, one by one, I am able to see cordi noona, then Mr Jeong then everyone from his team! It was so cool waiting for his name to be called while the balloons were popped! It felt like fireworks were thrown while shouting his name! 

Then, he was entered, with that suit, with that smile, and with that awesome look he had, and I felt really really happy to be near! To have that moment on the sideline, on his back, I felt like a proud sister seeing someone close to me being loved my many fans around! 


As it was time for him to have a fansign, I decided not to let my photo taking pass. I found a good place to stay to take my photos. But, my camera isn’t HD enough. Good thing,one of my Henecia friends, Darmie, called me up and told me to use her DSLR camera to take KHJ’s photos! 


Honestly, it felt heaven, being that close, seeing his expressions, his smiles on the kids lining up for him, seeing how happy he was seeing everyone. It may sound exaggerated to some, but I don’t mean exaggeration. I meant what I felt. 


Funny thing is one moment I had with Mr Jeong. As I was getting pre occupied with my photo taking of Hyun Joong, I had the urge to get nearer shot, but I can’t with the distance I had.  Being the cowboy I am as always in terms of Kim Hyun Joong, what I did was placing one of my legs on the stage and the other on the platform. Can you imagine my position? It’s like literally, I am not a woman at all, with my body literally close to kneading the floor.  Whatever it is, I did that. And I did not care. LOL. To think I was wearing shorts that time. 


Then as I was taking photos, I know for a fact that someone was staring at me. But I didn’t mind. Then two of my Unnies, Unnnie Grace and Gracie, called me up and said, “ KAT! KAT! Mr Jeong!” (pointing to MR Jeong who was looking at me!) 

OH-EM-GEE. Major non woman moment there. Mr Jeong, the ever handsome bodyguard of my love, Kim Hyun Joong, seeing me in that moment. When I looked up and saw him looking, I thought for a while that he will reprimand me, but he did not. So thanks Mr Jeong! Yeah, I love you too! 
When my Unnies signaled him that they want to take a photo of him, Mr Jeong just gladly signaled his hands to Hyun Joong, trying to say that he can’t take photos since his eyes should be glued to Hyun Joong only. 


As he ended the fansign, it’s time to award the five lucky ladies who will have a photo op with him. Originally, the plan was for the five to take photos him at once, but, Hyun Joong must have been quite in a great mood and signaled that he wants it one by one! Aigoo Hyun Joong ah! I love you  more! If only I had that chance to get a photo op with you too! 


As he left the stage, I felt in insurmountable happiness within me.  All that I ever dreamed and hoped for was given to me, more than I wished for. I never even wished for that bigger experience, but I thank the Lord for blessing me so much, Kim Hyun Joong way. Thinking about it, I guess God had led me so much to Kim Hyun Joong to be able to experience all of this at once. I don’t know how I did it, or what I did to deserve all the experiences I had. After all, all I did was just blog about Kim Hyun Joong and that’s it. But I am thankful, and will forever be grateful for the KIM HYUN JOONG dream I wished for came true.

First Date with Kim Hyun Joong

Finally, the day I have been waiting for has arrived. Even though I got no sleep from the day before, I managed to get up early with a big smile on my face. Me with my other Henecian friends, Jeanneth and Gracie went early to the airport to meet our Vietnamese Henecian friends. 1 hour of sleep sure is a torture but I don’t mind. After all, after a few hours, I will finally see Kim Hyun Joong again…Handsomer… Better…

As we were on the way to the airport, my stomach just keeps on turning and turning and turning. I am so nervous, I don’t know what to do. I think I have never been nervous the way I was going there. Many thoughts have been going on in my mind…

As we arrived at the airport, we managed to get VIP passes to get inside. Four of us from Henecia PH were able to go inside so we were very happy. We had flowers made to be given to Kim Hyun Joong and our mission was to get it to him. I wasn’t really hoping for the bigger experience. Just meeting him will be enough. But just as everyone agreed, they wanted me to give the flower myself to Hyun Joong! Imagine my surprise!

No. No . No. I cant possibly give the flower with my bare humanness to him up close. I think I won’t be able to make it. But, I still held the flowers anyway, and composed my thoughts so I can give the flowers without fail.

10 minutes before his arrival, we decided to enter the carousel part already. Since we are very sure he will go that part. All the emotions came rushing up on me. Gosh! It’s my first time doing all this, being in the VIP part of an airport and all. Then by a mere luck, one of my Henecia PH friend has a friend who works inside and asked us why are we waiting past the carousel when our VIP passes allowed us to enter until the immigration! Imagine my excitement! For the first time, I will see Kim Hyun Joong, in his bareness, in his usual FANCAM in THE AIRPORT SELF, up close!

Tiktok… As minute pass by and I feel he’s close, my hands are shaking with the nervousness I felt. Holding the flowers on my hands, I felt like one moment and all the petals will flow. That’s how nervous I was.

Then, every people waiting for their luggage are gone. Now I feel he’s near. Unnie Lyd suddenly exclaimed, ”Oh shock! Andyan na siya!” ( Translation: OH GOSH! HE’s HERE!)  As I saw him, all I exclaimed was, “SHOCKS! Ang gwapo niya!” (He’s so handsome!) It wasn’t even my first time seeing him but I guess time goes by.

The moment I saw him there, at the immigration, with Mr Jeong, I was like, “Damn, He’s so handsome..GWAPO GWAPO…MY GOD. “ He opened his shades for the immigration official to see, and I was more mesmerized. Damn. How could he be so hot. And he’s not even smiling as of yet!

So here he is now, a bout to walk out of immigration.  I found myself not holding the flowers anymore, but Ms Nadz(aka newyorkcitygirl). I can’t even remember how I gave it to her cause time went by so fast but it just did. When he finally passed by in front of me, I saw that the flowers were not on his hands. OMO! Why so! It can’t be I thought! So Ms Nadz gave the flowers again to me and I followed all my might to get it to him. It must get to him, no matter what, I thought.

He walks so fast I must say, so I ran all my might to give the flowers to him. Part of me wants to give the flowers to one of the stewardess who follows him, but a bigger part of me wants to give it personally. If I can’t give it to Hyun Joong, I must use my other chance, his handsome bodyguard, MR JEONG.

So I used my chance. I can’t even remember if I called MR. JEONG to get the flowers for him to get my attention, but all I remember was chasing directly behind Mr Jeong and gave the flowers. I can’t remember how he took it, but he just did! And I said, “MR JEONG, THANK YOU!” I wasn’t expecting a reaction from Hyun Joong anymore since I gave the flowers to his bodyguard already. But it must have surprised him that I called Mr Jeong than him so he LOOKED, AND WAVED, AND BOOM! I screamed,died…ECSTATIC. (Well as you all see in the fancam, my expression was… nah! It’s for you to describe!)

I jumped, and then went back to my senses to capture him again, very near, just behind him… Aigoo I was so close I can’t breathe. I suddenly felt like this is me, my own fancam. And this is how great it feels. Wow. Wow. Wow.

As he was going outside the airport, I was calling up my Henecian Ph friends outside to prepare... And just as we(now I have to add that WE part since I practically went out the same time Hyun Joong.. How great is that right?), it felt great hearing all the screams from outside. I dont know what got into me, may it be adrenalin rush or whatever else, but I just ran fastest as I could to join my other Henecia friends screaming outside again. To much of my happiness, yes, I was featured on the news... (LOL) I dont know if I should be proud of how I jumped and all, but never mind. Its my Kim Hyun Joong love after all, put into action.

My fancam moment

After his arrival, I and my other friends went to Shangri-la hotel as I was invited for the PRESSCON by POLYEAST RECORDS (which I am very thankful by the way...Thank you sir!) It felt surreal being in that room. It’s like everything happened like a dream. To point it out, I can’t talk too much anymore… 

I guess you all noticed that I don’t have too much to share on the Hi5 Event. That is because,   I was not able to go and fall in line for the Hi5 Event because I was at the airport. I had to choose one, so I chose the airport, and it seems, I made the right decision.

My first date with Hyun Joong ends here… But it my Kim Hyun Joong dream, came true isn’t over yet. ^^

Here to provide my fan account for the Fansign event at the Pavilion, KL.
I was really lucky to be able to get into this event. 
To be honest, when I fly over to KL, I was not even sure if I can even get this ticket. 
We do have some tickets, but it was limited and not enough to get all of us in.
One night before the event, I was already quite ready to give up mine, and let the unnies go. 
Afterall, I think I have a lot of "service" from KHJ and have been really lucky in seeing him since 1st December. So I was quite happy to let my unnies go ahead and have fun. 

However, thanks to the hard work of the people who made it possible! 
Not convenient to name, but basically they managed to get enough tickets for all of us to enter into the V.I.P category for us to watch this fansign event! ♥♥

I was there very early to check out the place. 
At first the crowd was still considerably small....
However overtime it grew so tremendously! Maybe it's because it's a open event, where everyone can come over and watch it. ^.^ 

I'm glad to say that for this event, we really don't have to wait very long before KHJ arrived. He was actually quite on time this time ^.^ Maybe the super near distance of his hotel and Pavilion kind of helped as well? 

Speaking of which, finally I can freely announce where he is staying...
Ritz Carlton KL! 
Hereby apologize to those fans who asked me but I was unable to say.
The reason is of course, for KHJ's sake. 
The hotel is really a fantastic one, it's extremely quiet and peaceful and really a perfect location for KHJ to rest in. 
In fact, have heard from people who worked with TFSMY about the kind of facilities and service KHJ has received... Safe to say KHJ probably had a superbly good rest for the 3 days 2 nights he spent in KL! 

Of course, this sort of quiet and peace will not be there if there are too many fans waiting outside everyday, roaming about the hotel in search of him. 
So do understand... this is the reason why. 
I am not familiar with some of you who asked so it's hard to know if you're someone who just want to watch him from the side or call a bunch of people to come over.. yup? 
Hereby extend my biggest apology! 
Hope you all will understand. 


Anyway, the event started on time and KHJ arrived in a maroon car. They literally drove him into the event, which started promptly on his arrival. 
KHJ as usual, introduced himself in that usual soft & KHJ-unique voice: 
" 안녕하세요~ I am Kim Hyun Joong. "

Before he launched into other things, he immediately pointed out towards the sea of excited fans. 
"Please be careful at the side, stay calm ~ " 

He was quite concerned about the fans who are very excited. Afterall it has been so long since they saw him (The last time was 2009) and in fact, most of them are probably seeing him for the first time that day. Thus, the crowd became quite excited about it, and he was worried about the safety of the fans. 

I especially love his expression when he expressed concern for the fans. And this was really the first thing he said after introducing himself. 
Sometimes I often come across articles and comments of KHJ as an aloof and indifferent person. 
But if you really know him you'll know it's because KHJ can get quite afraid of big crowds and overly passionate welcomes from huge amount of people. 
(He's still shy ^^) 
and he often have difficulty expressing himself in a way normal people can comprehend, something all KHJ should know actually!
Afterall this is a boy who wants to go meet aliens and leave his name on Mars ^^

Back to the event,
The MC for the event is actually a very good one.
From what I know from someone working with TFSMY, he can actually speak a number of languages, from English, Mandarin, Korean, Mandarin dialects and etc (Can't remember the others ^.^). 

MC first asked him if he is alright with the warm Malaysian climate, whether if he has gotten used to it. 

KHJ: "The weather here is very hot, but I am quite alright with the weather here already."

He also added:
"There is something called a 'White Christmas' in Korea. I hope that if the fans have a chance, they can also go to Korea and experience a 'White Christmas'."

MC asked him again how does he maintain such good skin (Same question as what was asked in SG)

KHJ replied that before he came he used two products from TFS. One of them is a mask from TFS, the other one I could not hear KHJ properly.  It's called White sth sth! KHJ's English is a little .... difficult to catch haha! ^^ 

MC then asked KHJ, which is his favourite product among TFS products?
Our 4D boy went on to describe a super long description of cleanser and sunscreen. I'm serious. I was struggling to record what he has said. 
Anyway he talked about a particular cleanser which I couldn't catch again, as well as the use of sunscreen. 
KHJ also said that because the weather in Malaysia is quite hot, we should all use more sunscreen to protect our skins... ^.^

Then, it was time to introduce the official new product of TFS, called "White Tree Snow". 
KHJ was given a remote control, and the moment he pressed the button, grand music started and suddenly there was a huge burst of confetti to signify the official introduction of the new product. 

KHJ's expressions are of course, what I often like to observe. 
He was watching everything with a kind of little-boy curiosity~ ^.^ 
Cute!!! 

Then it was time to start photo-taking with the lucky fans. 
A Taiwanese friend I've made in this trip was one of the lucky winners. She has been following him all over the world for a long time and I'm happy for her that she finally had her dream come true, and took a photo with him. 

I was watching from below, KHJ is really really nice honestly! 
My Taiwanese friend is rather shy I believe, she was standing just beside KHJ but a little behind because other fans from the side began to close in on KHJ. But KHJ noticed and reached out to gently push her in. 

Personal experience with the phototaking in SG, if you are nervous, KHJ kind of helped to make you less nervous because contrary to what I thought he might behave, he wasn't at all shy or awkward. He became the "big man" who made nervous and hyperventilating fans calmer because of how warm and caring he is. 

As you girls already know,
there was a girl in the next group who managed to get a hug from him. 
Ah well, I did not go round to check out what happened after that. From what I know, the girl tweeted about it? 

Just want to share with you all that, to be honest, 
I am quite confident that if either one of us asked for a hug from KHJ, 
he would have agreed to it. 
I am sure if I asked for it when we were having our phototaking, 
he would have said yes. 

Why? 
Do you think he can say no? 

Don't want to put him in an awkward position where he couldn't do what he really wants. ^.^ 
If it is an official event where we are officially entitled to receive a hug from him, I'll of course be more than happy! 
But if this hug didn't get approval from his diligent bodyguards (Who have been protecting him very well) 
as well as the official people organising this event, 
and most important if this hug place him in a position where he can't say no, 
I will rather not have it.. 

Well just sharing what I think ^^ 

Anyway, fansign started promptly as well. 
I'm happy for the fans because they seemed really happy and excited! 

I think some of you also read about a certain huge yellow giraffe given by a fan to him. 
Actually, we are not allowed to give him a present on stage, but somehow this fan managed to do so. 
Wish to share with you girls that I've seen the giraffe again in the back of KHJ's maroon car. ^.^
Quite funny but hey, they did bring it back to the hotel. 

The event ended quite quickly though. I think it lasted for about 50 minutes to 1 hour. 

KHJ finished off his last signature and proceed in front to leave his last comments before leaving. 
I love this part totally because finally he spoke in English, and what's more, it's a long sentence. For him who always refused to speak in English ^.^ I think he has made quite an effort. 

He said: "Thank you very much, I love you"

KHJ's accent isn't as 'strange' as he once claimed, is it? ^.^ 

With those loving words and his irresistibly cute way of saying it, the fansign event ended with a good note! ^.^
