First shoot for the "First Love Story" in Bali is done

Kim Hyun Joong first solo activity, Kim Hyun Joong 1st Premium DVD & Photo Book "The First Love Story"」first overseas shooting from Japan to Indonesia, Bali between 28th to 30th July.
Kim Hyun Joong had shooted agressively at Karma resort, Pecatu Indah resort etc and several places for indoor and outdoor shooting.
The next shooting will be on 19th August at Japan.
More details of the shooting at Bali will be scheduled to be posted at the members page on around early August.

Apparently, he was out of Korea that is why we never saw any fancams or pictures from "Kiss" set. And no one even knew he left right? When he was in DSP, if ever he or the rest of the boys leave Korea, we see fancams.

Here's the update:

So, told ya that Love Ya would debut at number 7 on MIT. I hope the rest of the Triple S would be inspired by this. However, this is not the time to be confident. Love Ya is number 7 because the 3 pinoy entries are not included in the MIT. So overall, Love Ya is still number 10.
This is what I noticed so far: 
    Suju and JB fans are fighting it out for the number one spot. That means that they are frantically voting. That means that they have no plans of slowing down. That's why Triple S cannot relax if we want Love Ya to climb some more.
My Fear: SHINEE
    Shinee is very popular [I don't understand why]. Remember last December when Lalala charted? Shinee also charted with Ring Ding and Ring Ding was always a notch higher than Lalala. Luckily, again, the Shinee fans have no staying power because Ring Ding fell off the MIT as quickly as it entered. So did Lalala [Hehe!]. The thing is that Shinee recently came back with a bang with Lucifer in Korea. Let us hope that the Lucifer video won't be released right away here in the RP. Otherwise, aside from the ELFs and the JB fans, we will have to contend with Shinee fans.
What has to be done
    If we want Love Ya to be number one, we have to continue with our efforts. We must not waiver. And we must be organized. Someone proposed a contest in one of the shouts but I feel that Triple S should not compete with fellow Triple S. Triple S should unite. We should treat this endeavor like a war against the others, not against our own. In a war there are basic rules such as:
1.    Know your enemy - ELFs and JB fans are our opponents and we must study and analyze them and know what they are capable of. We can not enter the fray blindfolded.
2.    Arm yourselves - We should know what our weapons are. Meaning, Triple S should know who the members are, their capabilities, capacities, connections, expertise, etc. This is the only time we can arm ourselves with our respective weapons if we know what they are. Therefore, we must:
3.   Be organized - I know it is tedious but I suggest that there be a tabulator. All Triple S who are willing to vote for Love Ya should register with the tabulator and give the following daily information:
    a.    How many votes he/she made for the day
    b.    How many votes he/she is capable of adding to her output
    c.    Suggestions on how to increase voting power
    d.    Personal experiences that would help the others

By doing those 3 things above, we will know our strengths and weaknesses. We will know when we need to adjust and work harder and we will know when we can relax. And most importantly..... WE WILL KNOW WHEN TO GIVE UP!!! Remember, not all battles are won. We may have enough soldiers, but if they do not want to fight, we cannot win. Just the same, if all soldiers want to fight but we are so few in number, it will be very difficult.

Let me share to you what I do. Aside from the 20 lines [yes I have upped my output to 200 votes per day] I also make around 20 to 50 additional votes which I lost count of. How do I do this? I always have P20 bills and P5  coins in my wallet. Whenever I meet up with someone, the first thing I ask is: Do you have any load in your cell phone? If the answer is yes, I offer to give the person P25 for globe or smart and P20 for sun in exchange for using his/her phone. Then I text the votes myself. Most of the time the person agrees. Later when I go to church, I'll do the same thing. I'm targeting at least 50 votes later.

So that is only one way of being creative. There are a gazillion other ways. Again it entails spending money but I always remind myself that this is not just some shallow fangirl thing.
Why are we doing this?
    We all want SS501 to continue making music. As a matter of fact, they said so themselves that they will perform again. Meaning, they have the intention to make an album and go on tour as a group, right? But intention is one thing, motivation is another. Before they decide to do this, they and whoever management company they will be in will first study the market. If they can see that their fans are lukewarm, despite their intention, they may not be motivated to come out with a new album. Remember that they are used to being big stars. They were given the last performance spots in Music Bank and Music Core for Love Ya. If they come back, they want to come back with a BANG!!! And they need assurance of that.
    As Triple S, it is incumbent upon us to ensure that they will get this motivation and inspiration to come back. Despite their absence, they should know that the fans are still here supporting them. Let the Triple S all over the world do their own work. But here in the RP, we should so our part. And the best way to do that is to give them as much exposure as we can and the best avenue is MYX.
My role
    For quite some time, I have been quietly observing the goings on in the Triple S community. I read all the blogs and news about the boys. I participated and contributed whenever my assistance was required. I was there for Lalala, Love Like This, Soribada and of course for Love Ya. I gave my all when it came to voting, streaming, purchasing, you name it. But I did everything quietly.
    But quiet I could no longer be because the situation now is crucial.That is why i decided to put in my two cents worth.
    The existence of SS501 is at stake and it partly falls on our shoulders. Of course we should put our trust in the members that they will come back but we also have to motivate them to come back. And when they do, we want them to include the Philippines in their tour. Don't we? Why do you think they canceled their Persona concert in Malaysia? Perhaps the marketing people did not think that it was lucrative enough. How can we make it lucrative for them and their managers to come here? By working hard to not only maintain but also to increase their popularity. Hopefully when Mischievous Kiss is shown here, Leader's popularity will sky rocket.

By the way,I suggest that we focus on Love Ya. I truly love U R Man and I want nothing more than to have 2 SS501 songs at the top of the charts but the reality of the situation is we don't have the numbers to support both songs. So please vote for Love Ya nalang.

Playful Kiss Wallies!

Can I be honest? I am quite confused what is the English title of Leader's drama. Is it Mischievous or Playful?kekeke... I decide to use Playful since it is easier to type.kekeke... I guess last week was an open filming for the drama that is why we got the chance to see Leader's first shooting days. This week? As of now,none yet. JanDi and Jihoo...Wish ur my love

I have always said that Yoon Ji hoo started it all. He made my life different because without him, I would have not known that there is a man named Kim Hyun Joong, and will be forever, in my heart. I have watched Meteor Garden, the Taiwan and first version of Hana Yori Dango, and I have always loved Leader's character then. I knew how the story would end. But those who have watched MG would agree with me that Yoon Ji Hoo(aka Hanazawa Rui or Hua Zi Lei) was given many oppurtunities to shine in BOF that even if I knew Jandi would end with JunPyo, I hoped JanHoo would prevail. Oh well.... Here is by far, the best JanHoo video for me so far since Wish ur my love, my favorite OST of BOF was used. I just love the song so much since it represents Ji hoo's love so much.

In MG, I was never a Lei fan but a Dao Ming Si fan. However, in BOF I was more drawn to Jihoo's character than JunPyo. JunPyo is hot and likeable but...OMG!..Jihoo.. He's just....Ahhhhhhh..Undeniably every girl's FANTASY!
I personally think that He and JanDi have a better chemistry compared to JunPyo.

Eventhough I already know how the story will end, I was one of the MILLION viewers who was hoping for the impossible Jandi-JiHoo ending..I mean if you're a girl, who wouldn't want a guy like Jihoo? He's always there for Jandi in sickness and in health. Happiness and sorrows. His love for Jandi is PURE, SOFT and UNSELFISH that makes you love him even more.
If you agree with me, raise your hand! lol.

Unlike MG , the korean version did a pretty good job on capturing the audience's attention thru the JunPyo-Jandi-JiHoo love triangle. It made the story more dramatic, and intriguing. The only fault the writers made was that at some point, I felt that they were rooting for Ji Hoo but still decided to let Jandi choose Jun Pyo..It's RIDICULOUS..
If they intend to follow the original manga, They shouldn't have CREATED a PERFECT JIHOO, shouldn't let HIM fall for Jandi, shouldn't have let Jandi DEPEND on JiHoo that much in the first place. It's really killing me to see all their perfect dates, and memorable lines go to waste.
Hayyy!!!!! I know I know that this is a REMAKE, but the bottom line is....Jihoo DESERVES Jandi more than JunPyo in this SERIES. C'mon..THEY ARE SOULMATES..Are SOULMATES supposed to end up together?

I never get tired of watching the JanHoo scenes
[they actually have MORE ROMANTIC SCENES together than junpyo]..
Their dates were always memorable, and full of happiness. I picked this OST because it was first used in the drama during one of the many JanHoo scenes. The lyrics of this song also fits very well to that of Jihoo's feelings towards Jandi.

If I have to choose between MG and BOF, I wud choose BOF at any moment. Don't get me wrong, MG is one of my favorite series but damn..because of Jihoo, I wud go for BOF..lol...The production, casts and film locations is just SUPERB.

If this kind of lovestory do exist in reality, then I'm pretty sure Jandi will regret the day he let JiHoo go..hehhe..but then again, it's just a drama. and dramas always feeds our willdest IMAGINATIONS.

P.S. One song is not enough for all the JanHoo scenes in the entire series..

HJ: There will be always gaps between the characters I act and myself in reality. When I appear in a film or drama, the character does not necessary be similar to myself; I act the character just as he is. To be extreme, I would challenge for even a killer.

MC: Now in a new environment, which area do you like to be challenged ?
HJ: Well, I would like to do something different from others. Though there are people who call me “Hanryu star “, but I do not think so myself. By making a best balance between artist as well as actor, I would like to become a top star everyone can recognize. Now it is difficult for me to realize it . However, I would like to become a star, actively working in the entire Asia as soon as possible, and somehow I would like to help people.

NR: I am much impressed by Mr. Kim Hyun Joong who seriously thinks of his future. I cannot believe that he is still twenty-four years old.


Then Ms Miyamoto (interviewer & narrator) brings the same game console as we saw in “We got married” which Hwanbo noona used for coupling of SS501 (Kyujung and Hyung Joon with two members of Wonder Girls.)

MC: Do you know what it is ?
HJ: Yes, I played it before.
MC: Then, you know about the rules, right ?
HJ: Yes, OK
MC: I am going to tell you why I brought this game console here. I would like to have your autograph on these cute footballs (taking out pink and yellow footballs) for fans.
If you loose, may I have your autograph on these balls?
HJ: Fine !
MC: You have just promised, right ?
HJ: Yes, I have promised ( in Japanese)
Then HJ and MC tried to decide the right of the first draw by Janken.

MC: Sorry, I lost the game, I still would like to have your autograph on them,

HJ pretended that he does not understand what she was talking about.
But he received the balls for autograph with a smile.

HJ: No, I am not kind enough (he spoke again in Japanese in a laugh )
It is a job for the broadcasting (again in Japanese, a moment of glimpse of our
4D leader ^^)


NR: He may have felt my enthusiastic appeal ? No, it is not true, he has already thought about the gift for audience. Therefore, he autographed so carefully on the balls.

HJ: Now these are gifts for you (in Japanese)

The shooting place shifts to the boardroom of Keyeast where HJ is having a meeting with Keyeast staff.

NR: Kim Hyun Joong, born on June 6, 1986 in Seoul (in the special municipal area), Height 182 cm. Blessed with his figure and an outstanding sense of rhythm, he has been demonstrating a great leadership in putting together the five members with much talents and originarity. In a Korean version drama, “BOF”, he completely acted as Yoon JiHoo, which fascinated not only Korean and Japanese fans, but also those throughout Asia. I met him for the first time today. He was very polite: to my questions, he paid full attention and consideration, answering in a very careful manner.. His pupils were so fantastic that I felt as if I would be absorbed in them.

NR: We heard from KH’s two close friends some stories worth listening to:
KHJ’s physical trainer and a dancer (back dancer?)

1st storty from his physical trainer.
TR: I frequently make an exercise with him. One day, we started our exercise with full enthusiasm at the gym where we have a pool, many exercise machines. After a hard exercise of barbell, and running, we challenged for swimming to make 15 returns. Though we started with full energy, just after making one return in a swimming pool, we made an eye-contact, then just gave up.

2nd story from his another friend (dancer)
Dancer: Between TV and private life, HJ does not have two faces, hiding nothing. Till recently, HJ and I lived together. As I am rather timid (frighten by what ???) , HJ slept in the same room. There is a rumour that HJ does not wear anything when he sleeps. It is true! I recognized that it was not a rumour but it is a true story. “ Ye~, it’s true ! “ he repeatedly said in Japanese “ honto (=true)”


NR: The next interview took place in a fashionable restaurant in Seoul. Hyun Joong ssi was so cool ! I am going to listen to more private stories, which you will know for the first time.

Q: How do you spend your time when you are not at work?

HJ: Without exercise, I feel burning with the desire for it. Therefore, I play football every Sunday. From Monday through Saturday, I make it sure to go to gym everyday. In Korea, “Gym” is called “health” .

Q: Were there anything you felt embarrassment when you came to Japan?


HJ: There are different connotations among Japanese and Korean languages. For example, I made a mistake in pronunciation; instead of saying “Doryoku shimasu (make an effort), I said “ Noryoku shimasu” . It’s a mistake of pronunciation, right ? ( he confirmed with the translator next to him) I meant that I would like to make an effort, but due to the mistake in pronunciation, I actually mentioned that I will demonstrate my cabality ( though “Noryuku shimasu” is strange in Japanese) . At that time, it was difficult for me to recognize delicate differences in pronunciation, neither different connotations in Japanese. Therefore, I could not have a smooth communication with people. There is another story about that.

During the first visit to Japan, I asked a stylist to give my a necklace. I used a Korean word, “moccoli” to name necklace. Then I saw a subtle expression in her face.

* If you pronounce a necklace in Korean language in Japan, it implies “erection” in Japanese slang, that’s why the lady was so embarrassed when he only used Korean to name “necklace” .

HJ: So, if you compare vocabularies among Japanese and Korean languages, it is quite interesting (sometimes embarrassing !) I was much surprised later.

MC: If I hear that word “moccoli” from Hyun Joong ssi, I also got embarrassed.
HJ: Ah~~~ I have another story about different expressions between the two countries. When I said “ I went to the health (meaning “ gym” ) “, the guy asked me “ from the morning?” with a surprise. Well, I answered, “ Isn’t that the place you should go in the morning ?”

In Korea, we use “health” to mean “ gym”, but in Japan, this “health” has a different connotation (i.e., the place men receives sexual services in Japan). Anyway, by these embarrassing experiences, I learned differences in culture, languages, and so on.

NR: Now we understand that he had many difficulties while he was in Japan. Before closing this interview, I would like to ask him convey his message to the audience in front of TV.

HJ: For those who are looking “ Kim Hyun Joong, just the way you are” , did you enjoy this program though it is very short time ? Next time, see you in Japan. I will prepare a story which I hope you will enjoy, and a fantastic performance as well. You can have a high expectation ! Thank you !

SS501 has Grandpa Triple S?

Woah~~!!!Super happy yet not surprised about this picture...Apparently grandpas were seen at our boys TVN concert last June. I am not surprised though cause when Leader had a concert here in Manila, I saw some grandmas sitting in the VIP section behind us! I thought I was seeing wrongly though. But they are definitely grandmas!  Woah!!! Our SS501's charm doesn't choose ages!!!
