ReplyDeleteAfter years of hearing he was only the face of SS501 and couldn't sing he has finally proven his naysayers wrong and he is only going to have more success because he has proven he can sing and he can sing well! I love SS501 and always will but I am very happy they decided to go solo for awhile because Hyun Joong is much more confident and has grown so much as a musician.
ReplyDeletei agree with anonymous 05:46 pm. i only became a fan after he went solo, but my insatiable thirst for hyun joong made me view and review his ss501 performances and MVs. except during talk shows, he didn't seem like the Leader, more like a back-up singer or dancer. but before i drive any ss501 fan mad, let me say that i do, i really do, like ss501 as well. i'd like them to get back together for old time's sake. it's just that i love hyun joong and even if there were 5 of them onstage and he were just swaying behind or side by side the others, i would just be STARING. AT. HIM. i totally understood why and was happy that he went solo. as someone who just adores his voice, i also don't get the criticism that he can't sing, because he really can.
