Kim Hyun Joong to release 1st Japanese full album ‘Unlimited’

Kim Hyun Joong, who is currently busy filming for his upcoming drama ‘City Conquest’, is gearing up to release his first full length Japanese album in December.

Titled ‘Unlimited’, first full length album will be released on December 12th. The album will contain 14 tracks, including most of his songs from his previous two Japanese singles ‘KISS KISS / Lucky Guy’ and ‘HEAT’ as well as new Japanese songs, “Save Today”, “I’m Yours” and “Your Story”.

‘Unlimited’ will come in 3 different versions. There will be one normal edition and two limited editions, which include a DVD, each featuring a different music video.

Kim Hyun Joong(김현중) renews contract with Key East Entertainment

It has been announced that Kim Hyun Joong has decided to renew his contract with Key East Entertainment.

The singer and actor previously signed with the agency back in June 2010 and upon the nearing of the expiration date, Kim Hyun Joong has opted to renew his contract.

An insider revealed, “Kim Hyun Joong is following the footsteps of Bae Yong Joon and is being recognized as a Hallyu Star. Kim Hyun Joong regards highly Key East’s ability and know-hows of how to enter the market in Japan and across Asia.”

Meanwhile, Kim Hyun Joong is currently filming for his upcoming drama, ‘City Conquest‘, which will premiere at the start of 2013.

Kim Hyun Joong pushed everything back in his other schedules in order to focus on "City Conquest" and its shoots.

He debuted in 2009 in "Boys Over Flowers" and continued in other romantic dramas, but not faring as well as he had hoped. He prepared for "City Conquest," in hopes of a stronger return. As this was his first action attempt, he attended lessons at action schools. 

Kim Hyun Joong finished the filming in Japan, which started in July and began shootin gin Korea on September 25th. After that, he went over to Southeast Asia and continued the production. 

"City Conquest" has already been sold in Japan, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, totaling sales of over $10 million. After ending its run on KBS, it will air on Japanese cable channel DATV.
