DSP Entertainment held an audition for a follow-up group to SS501 and has announced that the new 7-member group will be called SS502 for the time being.
SS501, whose name stands for "Super Star," "Singer," and "5 members united as 1," debuted in Korea in 2005 and Japan in 2007. In October 2010, it was announced that they would be back in 2011 with an album, but in the meantime the members are doing solo work. ReplyDeleteSS501 are the best boys band that DSP ever had.. how could they name their new group as SS502?? we used to call them as Double S.. Double S will always refer to our 5 charming boys; KHJ L, YS, KJ, JM, and KHJ B. I totally don't agree.. and if they have fans, what is the name of the fans? Triple S is only the fans for SS501, right?? there would be no other Triple S...

Are they kidding me??? They are out of their mind for wanting to name the new group SS502. What does that even mean??? It's a 7-members group for goodness sake! I feel bad for the new group, DSP is just being DSP, do they not have any other ideas for the name?? There are many many names they can come up with, why SS502?? I really hope this is just temporary before they can come up with new ones, or else Triple S will not let this pass in peace (me included). Crazy and stupid idea DSP!
