Yahoo Buzz gave KIM HYUN JOONG the BEST SEARCH ASIAN AWARD

Thanks to Unnie Len adn Unnie Cheezeemelt for the tag!

If you ask me? I am kind of having second thoughts about this award.. Why? Seems to me this is just a mere CONSOLATION for the Hyunnie fans like us because of what happened. They all know how upset Triple S and Hyunnies are...

Dont get me wrong.. I know LEADER deserves this award. Coz he is indeed, WELL SEARCHED. He was even top searched in Philippines and 3rd in Malaysia.. So, why is it that he did not win the TWO MAIN CATEGORIES if he is the most searched? HMMM?? Think???!!!!

Oh well... Whatever happens... If Leader attends, then, we will support him. But if you ask me, Id rather he not. If only its easy to boycott Yahoo, I would have done it already.

And oh before I forget, no bashing of ACTORS ok? More so, dont even include the name anymore.

FROM Princess/happiebb@http://www.lovekimhyunjoong.com/

seems like Yahoo has contacted wuri hyun joong's HK fanclub/s(?)wanting to help them secure tickets to attend the award ceremony.the fanclub/s(?) were totally puzzled at first, wondering why on earth Yahoo think they would want tickets if HJ didn't win...

then they got the following email from Yahoo HK

Kim Hyun Joong won the Best Searched Asian Artist, it is the TOP award for whole year search result. So Kim Hyun Joong will fly over to HK to attend our event.

now please note that i've not verified the above info and until you hear from Yahoo or Keyeast or any other official channels, but but but... the HK fanclub's starting to do headcount for tickets already, it seems...

anyway, for the time being, please treat the above as hearsay for now ^^

  1. I think KHJ should not attend this award. If JGS is so popular let his fans buy all the tickets for the award ceremony. Let us see how popular he is. Maybe the computer who voted for him may end up showing up alone.

  2. yeah~ its not pair...
we worked hard for it & just a consolation price... i think its not enough~ we worked for it to make him win it~ and in just a snapped all our hard worked popped like a bubbles~ lets his fan buy all the tickets~ and i think hyun joong should go... he's the real winner we knew it~ as a respect... let them see who is the shameful cheaters...

  3. I picked this up in one blog supposedly reliable -JGS is said not to attend the awarding because he is BUSY. Hahahahah after what his fans (a few) had to do to make him win ...so ironic .

I also don't want HJ to attend -Yahoo is using him to legitimize their monkey business. They have their search engine for so long they should know all these hanky panky can happen and yet they did nothing to protect the voting.

Yahoo now want HJ to promote Yahoo in the awards by dangling those awards to him as bait.

HJ better off promoting his PK and sleeping at home.

He has a long resume no need to add Yahoo .Yahoo awards nothing to be proud of .

  4. Probably because JGS can't attend Yahoo panic that nobody will fill the seats, actually contacted KHJ's HK fanclub to ask how many of their members wanna attend the show and give them the FREE tickets!

  5. Let's see what happens. Everyone here has already voiced my own opinion. After what happened, yeah, I don't even want to think about this. Just like someone else said, I'd rather he get some sleep and do what he wants than go all the way to get an award in consolation of the two he deserved.

  6. If JGS is a famous one, let Yahoo Buzz management sells the tickets for JGS fans. For me, i don't want to waste leader's time to go there if only most searched award he gets. As we all knew, he deserves the two main categories too. I boycott yahoo after the poll which i had a lot of sleepless nights to vote hyunjoong which at the end wasting my time and efforts. sigh, if they only knew what i've felt that day they announced the "true winner" as what the other blog says. so frustrating!

  7. I have mixed feelings regarding this whole Yahoo Buzz disaster, but I think we all should respect and support KHJ in whatever decision he makes. However, I do feel that his fans should hold off on securing any tickets to this event until an official announcement is made by Yahoo or Keyeast. We sure don't want to be disappointed again.

  8. It would definitely be easy for those who chose to ignore the yahoo polls or any polls whatsoever just to accept this. If it was some top secret site or a presidential election that was hacked it would have been punishable by law. But whatever the intensity of the situation is, our values for all fans when it comes to poll taking here is at stake. Yahoo mentioned that the sudden huge turn out of votes came from international fans and we know which country that is and we also know the username of the fan who gave out instructions to proceed with the daredevil deed.
Knowing that, it is not losing here that makes it unacceptable but the feeling of being duped and manipulated is just too much to bear. I can also recall the time spent of voting from the beginning of the poll and especially those sleepless nights during that weekend, so pardon me and in behalf also of those fans who deliriously did all the possible means to vote, it is just really difficult to forget all of this.

  9. But inspite of that and because of most fans, who were still there never giving up and with the optimistic side of me still hanging on, I was able to pull myself together and tried to find out what is causing the problem and trying to find out a temporary walk around to continue voting inspite of the bug. It was nerve wracking and exciting at the same time to find such ways to continue voting.
I really commend those who also never gave up and kept on trying during those days. Unfortunately, all efforts became futile, I just went into logging all my observations which I posted in the Yahoo KHJ monthly poll. Then subsequent logs of all other fans proved that something peculiar was really going on. We all experienced the same thing.
Generally, most KHJ fans love polls because they want Leader to be always no. 1 because we know he deserves to be no. 1. I also loved the feeling that all KHJ fans all over world would convene together, willing to undergo sleepless nights just to make KHJ no. 1. Leader always said that he is really not particular about awards but the love of the fans is just so overwhelming. I especially felt these during the parallel polls of MY & KHJ. This is the reason why I enjoy doing the polls. KHJ fans are very optimistic and always support Leader all the way.

  10. Thus, since this is my first time to be a fangirl, it is really very shocking and very disgusting to know that there are some fans who would do devious ways to the extent of hacking a poll. Why are there fans who would do such shameless and very desperate moves?
Voting in the polls is fun for me but it turned out to be a heartbreak for this particular poll. It was most painful when voting was impossible despite several attempts and I could see that scores of the other star were increasing so rapidly. And that moment when the other star finally went past KHJ was the most unbelievable and unacceptable thing that ever happened. I still have the record of the date and time. No matter what we did, countless rebuts or restarts efforts still remained futile. We encountered the same error messages. Listening repeatedly to the sound of the lady saying yahoo, yahoo in that video was agonizing already haha and that other star's votes just kept on increasing and whatever ways I discovered to help continue voting still remained futile, because the scores of the other star surprisingly just kept on drastically increasing which we know why already.
So the moment arrived when we could no longer stand it. We all agreed that Yahoo has to do something about this and so we all raised the issue to Yahoo. The KHJ international community was so much alive and were all united. We sought all help from Korean fans especially "ode" to help us. It felt good that some fans can make such good proforma letters of complaint and find the link where to submit the letters. Then these proforma letters and instructions were spread all over blogs and fanpages. I wonder how many letters were sent that weekend. It was a weekend, was Yahoo able to make a good excuse to delay their investigation and to correct everything on Monday? The poll was supposedly going to end 30 Nov the next day.
I have only read two replies from Yahoo, one from another fan and one each for my two yahoo accounts which is their standard reply for our complaint dated 08 December both received in my inbox at 11:35am...

  11. I'm also not sure what I feel about this. In my heart, and also from how Leader's been topping various search engines in Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines and the impact he's created in China during his visit there, just to mention a few, he should win the top awards. Now the terms for best awards all sound so similar - not sure what exactly they mean anymore. Maybe Leader should just sit this one out - even if for no better reason than to get some well-needed REST. Go sleep for another 24 hours if need be... I like to see him fresh + happy... =)
BUT if he chooses to go, I will still support him all the way. Whatever he chooses, I'm sure he would have weighed all the ups and downs before making the decision. Like he cutely sang once, "Winner, go~go~go~go~go..." hehehe...

  12. After going thru all this, I asked myself how much pain must I as a fangirl have to undergo again. I can withstand waiting long hours just to see Leader arrive. I sometimes ignore my work or my studies for a few hours. I have undergone sleepless nights just to vote for KHJ. I would spend some money to buy products just to see Leader and get more of his freebies. Order souvenir items to feel closer to Leader. Assist new fans. I was able to ignore Playful Kiss ratings, ignore those bashing Leader of his acting and Playful Kiss being compared to other versions, his hairstyle, his looks being compared to other stars whom I don't even know. Ignore that blog that sensationalized his singing for the Asian games. This I understand is what a fangirl has to endure for the love of Kim Hyun Joong. We know Leader very well enough to just be affected by all of these kekeke But I lost my patience over this hacking incident. I can forget this as time will pass but ignore it is very impossible. I am unhappy with Yahoo's actions. I wonder what these new awards are. I no longer will allow myself to be used by their marketing schemes just to make me use their search engines. Other search engines are much more user friendly anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Yahoo calls us in general as users, users of their search engine which really has a lot of loopholes, bugs and is less user friendly than others. You choose a search engine because you want something that helps you move and navigate faster in your browsing needs. Yahoo meets our basic needs but other search engines go beyond those needs. Is it Yahoo or is it just me?
But I want Leader to be happy and I will still support him all the way whatever he decides on this recent turn of events...

  14. Well said Anon @ 1:24PM and your mile long posts. I like how you put it all down here for us to know.
    Thank you!
HJ surely would be very touched to tears if he knew what you and all his fans(from China, HK, and the rest of the world) went through.

  15. Yahoo is trying to win back KHJ's fans that's why they're giving him this award..they know that most of us are upset about the whole Buzz Award controversy...

    ReplyDelete
  16. THEY WANT TO USE US AGAIN....NO WAY....I WONT BE DECEIVED ANYMORE...LET THE FANS OF THEIR SO CALLED WINNER ATTEND. WHY ASKED KHJ FANS??? THEY'VE SAID THAT HE HAS A LOT OF FANS WHO VOTED FOR HIM WHERE ARE THEY NOW?????ASKED THEM TO FLY TO HK & BUY TICKETS TO CHEER FOR THEIR BELOVED IDOL.

  17. It is too late for Yahoo to win back KHJ's fans by creating another award for KHJ. Proves show that Yahoo had make a mistake for not doing a proper check on voting. They are unable to control 'auto click' system which don't belong to them. This type of UNFAIR results hurts all KHJ's fans. KHJ's fan will never forgive.

    ReplyDelete
  18. All i can say is "NO WAY" to YAHOO BUZZ! They are all panic now because of no one will go there from JGS fans. If i were them, I will contact JGS fans globally especially internationa fans whom they are sooooooooooo many as what they proclaim....If all khj's fans locally and internationally will boycott for YB, i'm sure YB miss one fourth or i might say one half of their business. precisely, i will not forgive them period!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  19. I've read somewhere, people arguing about to forgive & not to forgive yahoo...but for my own point of view its not a matter of forgiving, its a matter of principles. do we really hunger that much for an award that we would settle for a consolation even we know that we are the real winner...lets think also what other might think of us....as of the moment ive already forgiven yahoo for their lapses but i can never forget the time their ignoring our grievances....well that is me. if hyun joong chooses to go i will still support him. maybe he has his own reasons

  20. I AM MOVED TO TEARS READING THESE POSTS ...THOSE SACRIFICES FOR THE LOVE OF KHJ IN SPITE OF THE FACT HE DOESN'T KNOW WE EVEN EXIST ....DOES YAHOO KNOW THIS ,TOO? OBVIOUSLY NOT ,FOR YAHOO TOOK THE FANS FOR GRANTED. IF THEY DIDN'T THEY WOULD HAVE SAFEGUARDED THE VOTES.

NOW THEY ARE MAKING AMENDS -WOOING US BACK WITH SOME AWARDS ...LIKE CHILDREN WITH PIECES OF CANDIES.

I'VE READ IN SOME BLOGS THAT WE SHOULD BE GLAD AND GRATEFUL TO YAHOO FOR GIVING THE REDUNDANT AWARDS TO KHJ. WHY SHOULD WE ? WE ALL KNOW WHY THEY ARE GIVING THESE AWARDS .

YAHOO SHOULD KEEP THEIR AWARDS TO THEMSELVES -MAYBE THEY SHOULD REWARD THEMSELVES FOR THEIR "SUCCESSFUL" PROMO.

  21. Read that the KHJ HK fanclub will be receiving the tickets for the show tonight. What if it is all a joke? The HK fans got tricked?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Gosh where do you guys read all these updated stuff? Please share the links! hehehe... I'm a new fan of KHJ (I just saw him for the first time in Playful Kiss) and I've been really hankering for some translated information/news on him. Sad sad sad that I can't read Korean, Jap or Chinese... =(
But back to the topic - I too voted religiously for the Yahoo Buzz Awards. It was my first fan-girl voting attempt and it was tedious and took long hours but I kept at it right until the end. I must admit that I was totally frustrated at one point but strangely I still persisted, choosing to accept instead that I've gone totally bonkers over Kim Hyun Joong.
But after all the hard work, I'm also not sure whether I want Hyun Joong-ssi to attend the event. As deserving as Leader is of the top awards, it just feels as if Yahoo is only trying to make amends - because they can't take away the awards from the other winner without alienating fans from another camp and creating a bigger mess, so they just create an award for Leader at the last min because they don't know how to put things right.
But in this matter, I think no matter what they do, it would be hard for me to accept because to me, and I believe many other fans, the awards have lost their significance because of the fraud-voting.
If Leader goes coz of some commercial pressure, I understand and will support him. Regardless of his decision, I just wanna say that he doesn't need such fraud-marred awards from Yahoo - we all know he is the ultimate winner, always.

  23. Read this from KHJ's HK fanclub website :-

"just get from Keyeast and Hyun-Joong.com that He will come to Hong Kong to receive his prizes on 17 December"

  24. as most of you have mentioned, i would rather that hyunnie would not come to get the "award" but instead he would just rest. but if he's really going then i will just have to support him. as his fan giving support is what we should do. so for now i'll be supportive fan and just be here for him.

  25. heiz life, my sentiments here is useless since hyunnie will come in HK to get the award. anyway, i still support and love him 4rever
