Kim Hyun Joong’s popularity doesn’t reduce in Japan

Among the 99,364 participated votes, ’Mischievous Kiss’ top the chart with absolute supports of 68.9% (68,467 votes). DBSK Mickey Yoochun’s KBS 2TV drama ‘Sung Kyun Kwan scandal’ won 2nd place with 30.7% (30,512 votes). 3rd place is won by ‘Fugitive’ (acted by Rain).

‘Mischivous Kiss’ released for about 27 million copies and made a record. Together with the previous manga-converted-drama ‘Boys over Flowers’, they both become top in Asia shoujo manga. In Taiwan, it has won the highest viewer ratings among the manga-converted-dramas, name as the national drama. At the same time, Japan also produced an anime, gaining high popularity.

In this drama, Kim Hyun Joong will act as a genius pretty teenager, trendy Baek Seung Jo who is not interested in anything. On the other hand, having no interest in studies, happy-go-lucky female lead Oh Ha Ni is acted by newbie Jung So Min.
