Kim Hyun Joong Meets Shun Oguri!

Woah!!!Full of past and present happening on Leader!!!First,the Mischievous Kiss star Joe Cheng.And now,with Shun Oguri! If you dont know Shun Oguri, he was the actor who played Hanazawa Rui on the Japanese adaptation of Boys Over Flowers. After his role in the drama,his career sky rocketed!Well,just like our dear Leader. I have always said Rui's character is a lucky charm. All actors who portrayed the role became big stars after. So,well,here's the news:

The Korean-Japanese star of the original Japanese comic drama made in Japan and Korea “Hana Yori Dango” meets. The hero Kim Hyun Joong and Shun Oguri.

Kim Hyun Joong was appointed the role Yoon JiHoo in Korean version ‘Boys Over Flowers’ which was aired on KBS 2TV early last year, while Shun Oguri acted the role as Rui in Japan version of “Hana Yori Dango” in 2005. Korean version’s Yoon JiHoo is the same character as the Japan version’s Rui.

Kim Hyun Joong and Shun Oguri meet on 20th afternoon secretly at the Seoul Sinsa-dong restaurant, schedule to be interviewed etc. Top star of Korea and Japan with the karma which acted the same role from drama place them together.

An official said “Two people meeting is to be processed in private, some media from Japanese will have a brief time to process an interview.”

The short film which Shun Oguri produced by himself `슈얼리 섬데이`(Surely Someday) is with the director qualification to get invitatied to the Bu Chun International Film Festival, the first visits of him to Korea on 19th afternoon. After finishing the film festival schedule, he will have the meeting with Kim Hyun Joong.

Meanwhile, last February Shun Oguri attended the Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival`Pleasant Companion’ also had the meeting with Goo Hye Sun in good karma. Goo Hye Sun acted the lead beautiful female heroine of “Boys Over Flowers”.

Kim Hyun Joong to attend 'Boys Over Flowers' Reunion on August 18!


Korean singer and actor Kim Hyun-joong will be attending the "Boys Over Flowers" reunion in Japan next month, according to his agency KEYEAST.

EYEAST announced in a press release that Kim and the rest of the cast members including Kim Bum, Kim Jun and Ku Hye-sun will be in Osaka (August 18) and Tokyo (August 21) for a reunion event for the drama. Actor Lee Min-ho will not be attending due to personal matters.

"Boys Over Flowers," originally a popular Japanese comic series, became a hit series when it hit airwaves in Korea last January. "Boys" also drew in a large audience in neighboring Asian countries such as Japan, China, Taiwan and Southeast Asia.

Kim, 23, is the leader of the boy band SS501, one of the most successful K-pop acts in Asia since their debut in 2005 with the single "Warning." The singer made his acting debut in the smash hit drama "Boys Over Flowers" and appeared in various entertainment programs as well.

He signed with Hallyu star Bae Yong-joon's agency KEYEAST in late June after the group's contract with DSP Media expired on June 8. He was recently chosen to play the male lead for the upcoming series based on the popular Japanese comic "Itazurana Kiss."

The romantic comedy is scheduled to air on MBC after war drama "Road No. 1" ends its run.
